London Eye British Airways London Eye Millennium Wheel
If you visit London, you must take a turn in the London Eye Millennium Wheel. Designed by David Marks and Julia Barfield, the London Eye is the highest ferris wheel in the world. The London Eye takes you 135 meters to the top providing the best view of London you'll find. For those who don't like heights no worries. The London Eye moves very slowly, so slow in fact that it only stops for wheelchair passengers. Everyone else simply steps into the car as it goes by. Each car on the London Eye holds about 20 persons and there is a bench in the middle you can sit on. The trip around the London Eye lasts about 20-30 minutes and provides you with excellent views of all sides of London. The London Eye was created to celebrate the year 2000 and was going to be only a temporary structure. People love the London Eye and have demanded it not be taken town. Today this remains one of the most popular sites for visitors to London England. A London Eye Ticket will run about 13 pounds for an adult and 6.50 for children. To the right you'll see a picture of the London Eye and below is a picture of Big Ben I took from the top of the London Eye.
